What Is Thermography?

Thermography is a safe, non-invasive, and radiation-free imaging tool that detects subtle changes in heat and circulation within the body.

Thermography is based on scientific premise that before the growth of abnormal cells can occur, an increased blood supply must be circulated to the growth area. Thermography measures the heat generated by the microcirculation of blood in the body during this process.

Unlike X-rays, ultrasound, or MRIs, which are structural tests, thermography is a functional test. This added layer of information can help identify areas of concern earlier and support more informed, proactive health decisions.

Rather than providing a diagnosis, thermography serves as an early awareness/risk assessment tool that gives you and your healthcare provider valuable information to provide follow up care.

Many of our clients include thermography as part of a proactive health program, treatment monitoring, and staying informed between regular checkups.
